Simulation in Zurich
On Saturday and Sunday, 2nd and 3rd February, we had our "big" simulation. Together with the WordlMUN Group form the University of Berne and some of our last year's Lithuanian delegation, we simulated the General Assembly Plenary dealing with the question of how to "implement the new Human Rights Council". After two days hard but very constructive negotiatons we finally had three draft resolutions. Two of them were at the end adopted and became resolutions, while the third one failed, mainly due to the resistance of islamic and developing countries. for more information see the picture gallery under Nicaragua 2008. Nicaragua is it!
The Studienstiftung delegation 2008 will represent Nicaragua at the NMUN 2008 in New York.
